beyondblue invites you to put on your walking shoes and join the fun of the annual Seven Bridges Walk around Sydney Harbour.
Organised by the Pedestrian Council of Australia, the Seven Bridges Walk will be held on Sunday 25 October.
The aim is to get thousands of people walking together to raise awareness of the benefits of exercise for physical as well as mental health.
Last year, more than 10,000 people joined the walk, which stretches 25 kilometres and crosses - as the name suggests - seven bridges.
Participants can join the walk at any stage. The route crosses the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, ANZAC Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and the Fig Tree Bridge.
beyondblue has been involved with the Seven Bridges Walk since its inception three years ago along with The Cancer Council NSW, Diabetes Australia (NSW) and the Heart Foundation.
Participants can walk as little or as much of the route as they like, with plenty to see along the way including food, music and live entertainment.
Keep an eye out for the beyondblue volunteers who will hand out information on depression and anxiety.
