Project brief
Family and friends are the major providers of day-to-day emotional and practical support for those in the community experiencing depression. The Partners in Depression national dissemination project was an opportunity to significantly contribute to the published evidence base of the experience of those who care for a person with depression. Evidence from the Partners In Depression Program was collected and translated into papers and publications.
The Research Paper Series provides a snapshot of the outcomes from a partnership between the Hunter Institute of Mental Health and beyondblue to extend what is known and understood about how best to support people in Australia who love and care for someone with depression.
