Cook-a-long with Michael from "Love on the Spectrum"
Born out of a desire to allow Australians to reconnect via food, Bone Apple Tea has launched a live stream cookery class. Kicking off the all-new cook-a-long experience, the July show will be hosted by Australia’s sweetheart, Michael Theo (Mr. A+), from Love on the Spectrum.
Bringing together a love of food and community, the cookery classes will be hosted monthly by Australian Chefs and celebrities, including MAFS Anthony Cincotta, Sam Overton, Tenille Evans, and Ash Croker, with further celebrity guests to be revealed monthly.
Following a trying few years for all, Bone Apple Tea has partnered with the Beyond Blue Foundation to support mental health and wellbeing. An initial $10 from each ticket purchased will go directly to the charity, as well as additional proceeds from the series.
Bone Apple Tea Founder, Andres Marin, said: “The last two years have left many of us feeling disconnected. Our live streamed cook-a-longs allow Aussies to connect with other foodies, from a distance, and cook like a Chef from the comfort of home, all while giving back to an important charity.”
Michael Theo, Love on the Spectrum, said: “As a sufferer of anxiety myself, I’m excited to be part of an initiative that brings people together, whilst raising funds for an important cause. I’m very much looking forward to entertaining Australia once more, getting a chance to show off my cooking skills and hopefully inspiring others to give cooking a go, with the guidance of the professionals.”
Tickets to the cook-a-long live can be purchased for $49 directly from the website with the first live class taking place on Tuesday 12th July at 6.30 pm AEST.
Members will receive access to an exclusive Facebook group, where all the cook-a-longs will be streamed live, as well as recipe cards with ingredient lists and instructions, access to replay the live streamed videos on demand, the option to interact and ask questions of the celebrities and Chefs on the day and more.
