Activity Detail

Youth Beyond Blue are developing website content and an app to help young people have conversations with friends who are struggling and we're looking for blueVoices members aged 17-25 to tell us about their experiences of talking about mental health.

The content developed will support young people to develop skills in how to ask, how to listen and how to help. We are also developing a resource for parents (or trusted adults) on how best to talk to a young person about anxiety and depression.

We know that these are not always easy conversations to have. So hearing about your experiences will guide the development of this practical resource. We want you to tell us what’s been difficult, and what’s been helpful, when you’ve talked to a friend or trusted adult about mental health issues.

How to help

Your personal experience is an essential part of this project and will help us develop content that is appropriate for young people.

If you’d like to be involved, please take the time to complete the quick survey below by telling us about your experiences and ideas. There are no right or wrong answers, please just tell us honestly what you think.

This is a brief survey and should take about 15 minutes to complete.

Although your responses to this survey will be provided to the project team, no identifying information will be shared. We collect your name in the survey so that we can contact you if we have further questions for you.

Thanks! We look forward to hearing about your ideas and experiences.
