Activity Detail

The Australian Government has recently released a draft of the Fifth National Mental Health Plan. The Plan sets a national approach for collaborative government action over the next five years with a focus on achieving a better integrated service system for people experiencing mental health issues. The Plan is intended to guide both Commonwealth government and State and Territory government initiatives in mental health over this period.

The Australian Government is currently seeking feedback from all interested Australians and Beyond Blue will be making a submission to government in response to the draft Plan.

It is important to us that the views and experiences of people with experience of depression, anxiety and suicide are reflected in our submission and we encourage you to share your feedback with us (or directly to the Department of Health if preferred).

We understand that is is a long document however your opinion is valuable and we would like to hear about the issues that are important to you so that we can represent these accurately.
