The Way Back Support Service (The Way Back) recently received government funding to help Beyond Blue reach more people in Australia who need this important service. The Way Back supports people for the three months after they have attempted suicide - which is when they are most at risk of taking their own life.
To reach more people with this important service we need to improve how we promote The Way Back. To do this the Suicide Prevention team is looking for people who have used the service to share their experience.
Sharing real stories is powerful. Stories can help reduce the stigma surrounding suicide, help people understand more about the experience, and offer hope that recovery is possible.
The stories we are looking for will focus on what it's like to use the service. These stories may be used in the media or on the Beyond Blue website.
If you, or a family member or friend, have used The Way Back Support Service, we'd love to hear from you.
Help us to improve how we promote The Way Back so that we can reach more people who need support after a suicide attempt to reduce their risk of taking their own life.
This activity is now closed. If you have completed The Way Back Support Service and would like to share your story please get in touch with the blueVoices Team
