Activity Detail

Men's Health magazine is Australia's number one men’s lifestyle brand showcasing expert tips and life hacks from grooming and style, to food, tech, travel, business, fatherhood and mental health.

The magazine is currently researching an article focused on the mental health impacts of being made redundant, or fired, from a job. They would like to interview someone with personal experience as part of the article.

The article will include details of your experience, the effects on your mental health and may require a photo. It’s important to note that the magazine is published nationally and is read by up to 2 million people.

The journalist is particularly interested in profiling a man who held a fairly senior role before he was made redundant or was fired. The focus of his story is to identify the link between the redundancy and/or firing and his mental health decline. He will also include the steps taken to improve mental health.

The reporter will also interview a Beyond Blue mental health expert for the story.

The article is planned to feature in a 2019 edition of the magazine and online articles.
