Beyond Blue's workplace program strives to create mentally healthy workplaces across Australia.

The community are encouraged to understand how to build a workplace that protects the mental health of all staff, promotes wellbeing and supports staff with mental health conditions.

This is done through the Heads Up website, engaging with the workplace community and delivering tailored programs for higher-risk workplaces, like the Police and Emergency Services sector and small business community.

But how do we know if we're achieving our mission and making a difference?

Beyond Blue is currently exploring opportunities to strengthen how we monitor and measure our overall workplace program performance. To support this, a new Workplace Monitoring and Evaluation Framework is being developed.

Why is a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework important?

The framework will allow Beyond Blue to better measure our impact on workplaces and track opportunities to improve our operations, services, programs and campaigns.

How Blue Voices can help

Your experiences with mental health and workplaces will help make sure the Framework is relevant and useful to address workplace mental health.

Sharing your ideas will involve a thirty-minute phone interview with an evaluation consultant.

We're ideally looking for three Blue Voices members who have one of the following to take part:

  • experience with Beyond Blue Workplace initiatives including Heads Up (i.e. used the Heads Up resources as an employee, manager or any exposure to it in their workplace)
  • experience with similar workplace initiatives
  • skills in strategic level thinking, business improvement, impact measurement or monitoring and evaluation

Background

The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework will flexibly embed effective measurement systems into our everyday business, improve the quality of external evaluations and support ongoing monitoring and collection of quality, meaningful data, relating to the Workplace Program outcomes.
