hi Bethie, you are only undermining your ability and yes it's quite easy to dismantle anything small and then put it back together but when a motor is concerned I've given up.
My first car I bought was a Morris 1100 so I thought it would be great to pull the motor out, which I did 3 times to fix the gear box, after that no more work on any car, that's why I'm a rubber spanner.
hi Elizabeth, it's a big job you're involved in, boy, to me it sounds to be exciting, would have tackled it myself without any doubt, love jobs like this, so let me know how you go and hope your son helps you.
hi Paul, how did you go with the post and Bethie has helped you, that's great.
hi Steve, yes practice makes perfect as the saying goes, although as you say everybody has their 'own specialty', just trying to think what mine was but too many to choose from, maybe building decks, or was it?
What was yours so we can figure out the problems you may have in doing and later on the wear and tear you have to face. Geoff.
