"You're playing and you think everything is going fine. Then one thing goes wrong. And then another. And another. You try to fight back, but the harder you fight, the deeper you sink. Until you can't move... you can't breathe... because you're in over your head. Like quicksand. "-Keanu Reeves (The Replacements Movie)

"Then it will happen this way: You make the kill, but your pain doesn't die with Harvey, it grows. So you run out into the night to find another face, and another, and another, until one terrible morning you wake up and realize that revenge has become your whole life. And you won't know why."- Batman Forever movie

The Values that Underpin Social Inclusion:

    Some statements to ponder.

    Everyone Is Ready.
None of us has to pass a test or meet a set of criteria before we can be included.

Everyone Can Learn As human beings we all grow and change and make mistakes: and we are all capable of learning.

    Everyone Needs Support
Sometimes some of us need more support than others.

    Everyone Can Communicate
Not using words doesn’t mean we don’t have anything to say.

    Everyone Can Contribute We
need to recognise, encourage and value each person’s contributions - including
    our own.
Everyone Can Contribute We need to recognise, encourage and value each person’s contributions - including our own.

    Together We Are Better
We are not dreaming of a world where everyone is like us -difference is our most important renewable resource.

Going to put this one out there as well! Always thought difference makes an impact.

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
    ― Rob Siltanen

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Jesus Christ

Why not go out on a limb? That’s where the fruit is.

Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.

Yes Kanga I know that one...."In order to get to the fruit of the tree you have to go out on a limb"

did you see Shirley MacLaine's movie Out On A Limb, or read her book of the same name? I loved both - in fact I have the DVD if you want to borrow it. Do they have a DVD lending library where you are? Perhaps they can get The Five Pennies for you??

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
