That's kind of you to say Kanga....so much I want to say but again...not sure where....when I reply to others I can't help mixing in a bit of "my own stuff" which we are not supposed to do..anyway that's what someone told me long time ago..

and not many people read my own individual thread (which i was told to stick to).....so i may as well come in here and lose myself in a huge bowl of spaghetti or something...... (I promise I won't bother anyone with my issues....someone to hold my hand would be enough)............luv ya 2.....

    Hey guys!

Feeling a bit better lately, getting some early nights. School assessments due from a teacher that doesn't know what she's doing and people are saying she's gone insane! Well, school is going to be a breeze hopefully. Brought some chocolate brownies. mm...

I hope you like my avatar, it's my dog Stormy from a few years ago.

Hello MM, thank you so much because it's not that often I am treated with that much respect, although I do have another person who always gives me an abundance amount of accolades quite regularly.

    Much appreciated.

Hi Kanga..."stop the world.....etc". i believe it was a stage musical written by and starring Anthony Newley, once married to the famous Joan Collins and father of her first two children, Sacha and Tara.......He also had another big hit with "What Kind of Fool Am I?".............just a bit of show biz trivia for you..

    Kanga...

Don't go into hiding just because things aren't working out. If you stay with your family and friends they will help you out. Also, try smiling a bit more at people. When they smile back, you will feel good. That's what I do.

Hmm. Maybe try going to a friend's place? Or if you live alone, then try inviting someone to join you and keep you company. It's always nice having someone with you unless you don't like them.

A long time a go I wont say what gentlemen did I just won't go there. There is no reason to go there or be there or go there. But when you have as much time as we have it gives you time to meditate and come up with powerful answers to hard questions. But when those questions have no answer you Finnish up like me

Hi Tris_ and welcome to the forums!

Anxiety and Depression is so bad. I hate to see people sad. Try smiling at people. When they smile back you will feel very good, and try chatting with your neighbors and family about it. If you don't want to tell your family, try telling your friends about it and always see a psychologist or your GP. They can always help you.

Well, my weekend was crazy! On Saturday we went to a French market thing, then the next day, our dog gave us a huge scare looking sick. My dad picked her up, running to the car, fearing the worst; a snakebite. We got to the vet, got her to an expert and in a few minutes, she was fine. It was not a snakebite, just a case of osmosis. She ate some cuttlefish and because her mouth was dry, she drank seawater and because seawater is so concentrated with salt, her body tried to put some freshwater into her stomach so that the seawater salt level was balanced with her body's salt level. She's fine now and jumping around crazily as normal. She just needs to be walked every afternoon to keep her fit.

    Hope everyone's doing OK

    Thanks Dan, and kanga.

I have made a thread in the "Anxiety" section if you want to help me there :/

Basically I'm the youngest child of three and I'm just feeling completely lost and alone while all around me my friends and family are getting jobs and studying in Uni or something similar. I have many aspirations but none of the motivation to pursue them.

I wish I could describe my day and help distract everybody but I do nothing of value or use all week. I'm sorry if I'm bothering people.

    Hiya all

It's been ages since I've jumped in here. Everyone's welcome.

Who'd like a coffee, tea? Just made some blueberry gluten free muffins. Any takers?

Good on you for sharing here Tris. I'm sure you do things that are useful. Feel free to talk more on the thread you started in the Anxiety forum. Maybe you can get some new visitors to talk with you.

Hiya Kanga - one of our regulars here in the cafe. I've been so busy lately. Haven't been keeping up with what's happening.

Yeah, Dan the Man - smiling is good. Keeps the world going round. Love it.

Paul, you are awesome! Keeping this cafe open at all hours is just great.

    Bye for now.

Tris far from it sweetie You seem to have taken several pages out of most of the Beyond blue people who drop in to the caff. Lost and drowning in a Room full of people with no one to talk to. Screaming for help and no one hearing ya. . The kids who hid in the Library at school during lunch time because we had no one to play with. Well that’s where I hid In here we hear ya and at least try to help take the edge off te sharp pain of the beast Depression. Foul monster it is.

Now Paul if you cannot handle the truth stay out of My Kitchen. This freight train has a road attached. It is at least ten kilometers long with breaks that don't work any more Reverse gear was lost several years ago. the anchor was lost some where near Ross river.

Still here fighting the good fight. Finding out along the way that most of what I feared about the people managing my welfare Had alternative motives. The sad thing is they have been outed, by one of their own. But I know within myself I have always done what is best for my children No one can take my parenting away from them. Also a silly game my Nona played when we were kids had us in hysterics every time. To play pointer finger gets pointed at an object or wall or roof. challenging the child not to laugh at the silly finger. Yes that's the silly finger pointing and wiggling away. Most kids wind up cracking right up. The younger the better. Cheep entertainment that can be taken any where.

But those who say I starve my children I hope thea when they are in Hell thay find out the truth

Kanga, why are you being so negative? For Christmas try to stay with friends or family. Kanga, as long as you feel better, I feel accomplished. Please, Kanga. Don't be negative over CHRISTMAS! Do something real, like play sport or join scouts/venturers/rovers depending on your age...

Dan I will try to be nice in this piece With my family not having any thing to do with me even during Christmas. No friends to call on or who could be bothered in seeing me and lifting my spirits when I lifted theirs. knees shot to hell cannot walk across a room no one about to play chess, backgammon, ecure 500 poker. strip poker, Christians promising you the world providing you give them all your money. Giving you a huge debt in it's place. Being put down on all fronts as I have said last year and again this year the scrooges of the world have won the Grinch really did steal Christmas. If my children stayed in touch and believed in Christmas and my siblings invited me to the family get together I might be different they don't care ten I am now a scrooge as well ave a great time I will just stay self medicated
