Hello Hanna, Deebi👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩, Paws and everyone...

It is sad isn’t it how so many beautiful people are alone and/ or feel loneliness so much....Not working makes its harder because I don’t have a reason now to go out...except my Drs appointments...Friday this week is my Cardiologist..

My brother “W” was a carer for a really lovely man “C” for over 20 years.....he was like family to us....I have met him a number of times and he and my brother stayed at mine a few times for a week or so....C wasn’t expected to live to adulthood, but the bond formed between my brother and him were like two very loving caring brothers...C was born with a lot of physical health problems...and deformities (Thalidomide) had caused him ...including Bi.Polar...and abandoned by his only sibling after their parents died....

I was talking to him through face book last Wednesday night....he was being his usual cheeky fun loving self...Then my brother went to wake him up Thursday morning so he could give C his meds...he had died in his sleep...just 2 days after he turned 60....C used to tell me he wanted to make it to 60......Another beautiful soul passing into heaven...C will be very much missed by both my brother and myself...

I am okay...I think.I cried till no more tears would come out....but I’m worried about my younger brother, he has lost his best mate..and our beautiful soul brother...

RIP dear C....you will always remain in my heart with so much love..

    Grandy..

    Hi Grandy,

I have only just got my laptop back and it's working thank goodness!

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I actually nursed thalidomide babies for a little while long ago when I was training as a nurse. The thalidomide babies and children were heartbreaking, I loved them dearly.

I am so sorry you are so sad. I am glad for him that he at least reached his 60 year birthday. Your brother will miss him very much.

These wonderful people touch our lives don't they? And they have such courage during their lives.

Sending warmest hugs from me and little Sam xxxooo hug hug hug

    Hello Deebi👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩, Hanna and everyone...🤗..

Thank you so much...also thank you Deebi for remembering I spoke about him...he was a lovely man....unfortunately I cannot attend his funeral...He had a lot of friends because of his kind ways....It was such a shock since I only “talked” to him on the same night...he was always happy and would do anything for anyone...I am so pleased that his dream to live to 60 was gifted to him.....My brother said he put on a BBQ for his birthday and he enjoyed himself so much..

Thalidomide effected so many babies... Its so sad that they didn’t realise the detrimental side effects it had on the babies born much earlier...Your so right Hanna about them being wonderful people and touching our lives with their courage..

I am so pleased your laptop is working again...In today’s era it really is a necessity to be able to keep in contact with others...Imagine without laptops/computers/ phones etc how hard it would be to keep in touch and even see “FaceTime” with our loved ones who live far away from us or interstate or overseas...We really are very lucky..

I have been ringing my brother daily...he has a great friend that has stayed with him and been helping him with all the arrangements that needs doing at this time....I am pleased he has someone to watch over him...I wish I could be their for my brother...but I can’t be...😢.

bbff...much love to you with my deep care..💚🧸🤗🌹🦋🦄👼....with hugs..🤗

Hanna my love and care to you dear lovely friend..and everyone..💜🌹🦋🤗..with a hug 🤗..

    Hi Grandy,

My condolences to your brother and yourself. It sounds like the relationship wyou brother and yourslef had with this man was very special.

You may not be able to attend the funeral. Due to this world of Covid, so many funeral services are available on line. I know it is not the same as being present, but is it possible for you to be a part of this farewell if you desire?

Allow the tears to flow. Maybe light a candle and remember this precious soul.

Kind thoughts to you and your brother, hugs from Dools

    Hello Paws, Dools and Everyone.....🤗.

    Thank you all so much..

I could drive that far on my own to attend the funeral, in a way I’m pleased that lockdowns are in place...I don’t mean to be mean or anything but it’s a 8 hour drive and last time I drove their I ended up spending a night in the hospital their...

My brother understands my mental health conditions and doesn’t want me to drive there...The funeral will be family only, he has a sister who abandoned him and a couple of nephews he hasn’t seen for over 20 years...now they turn up...a bit late isn’t it?...I shouldn’t judge them because I don’t know the circumstances behind their estrangement, but it’s just so sad, that they missed out on knowing the nice person he was...

Thank you Dools..I do have a candle I lit and i put his photo next to it....I will let it burn until it turns itself off....

Thank you all for your care and support..it means a lot to me...

    Love and hugs everyone....

    Hi Grandy

I'm sitting here waiting for a phone call from an old friend and for my computer which is back with the repair shop because it now has no sound!

I'm glad you're not driving all that way. Lighting a candle is a lovely idea.

What a pity some of his family didn't understand what a lovely person he was. I'm glad that at least some people like you and your son did.

I'm tired out from the pain today this weather when we have rain imminent seems to bring it on.

Thinking of you and sending comforting hugs to you 💖🌷💐🌻🌼🌸🌿🐾

    Hi Grandy,

Thinking of you today and hoping you get through the day okay.

Driving 8 hours is quite a journey at the best of times. Candles can be comforting and photos are a wonderful way to remember a person.

I hope the funeral does go well. It is hard in these times to know just what will be allowed on the day anyway!

Take care Grandy, hugs from Dools

Hello Deebi👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩, Hanna, Dools, Tess, Paws and all...🤗.

Thank you all for your caring posts..

They are having a cremation with only family members plus my brother...as soon as C’s sister arrives....

I am okay, C’s dream of reaching 60 came true...that was a huge want and goal for C..he would have been happy about that....such a tender heart he had, and touched many lives with his courage...In Gods heaven he lives now...

It was a beautiful day day here yesterday, the sun actually had some warmth in it.....Isn’t it strange how something unusual happens when someone dies....I will write it out and put it in my pets thread or nature thread...not sure yet where it belongs...

Hanna my mumma fur baby “Kya” turns 8 tomorrow....I have bought her a new toy..with a bell inside, she loves the noise..they will both play with it...They love chasing and play fighting each other😂😂..It’s so cute to watch..I think I will wash them both today...big job...

My Cardiologist appointment, he done another echocardiogram and said my heart is leaking from one valve, not serious yet..but needs to be monitored....I trust his word that it’s not serious...he said that it’s okay for me to take the astra Zeneca vaccine...My first “jab” date is the 10/8....my husband’s anniversary of him passing...makes me a little concerned...it’s on that date..

Deebi, If it’s okay I would prefer another name...I named my unborn daughter Angelica..and it would be to hard for me to call my mannequin after her.....That’s okay, Please don’t get upset at all...you might have forgotten, I named her that...Looking forward to hearing another name you have...

Its good to see you here dear Tess...I often think about how your going...if ever you need to talk..My thread is always open to you and others....How are you feeling Tess?..

thank you Deebi, for popping in yesterday with Mr Deebi..Love What you packed..Thank you so much...Big SSS love for you always fills my heart..💚💚🌹🦋🦄👼🧸🤗..

My love and hugs to everyone...your all beautiful people..that I love and care for a lot..🤗💜🌹🦋.

Hi Grandy and Deebi and everyone

Happy birthday to Kya for tomorrow I think the toy sounds great🙂

I've typed a reply twice and accidentally deleted it.. I am struggling to get replies to everyone at the moment...

I think it's wonderful and moving that C left such an impression on everyone he has left behind. He must have been a very special person. 💖

The astra zeneca seems to make most people tired for a day or two Grandy - it's your body making antibodies. With those selfish people coming to your town I'm glad you're getting it done. I was tired for two days but otherwise fine.

I have been house cleaning and now I'm tired. Sam is having a sleep. I'm sure he is turning into a cat I think he would stay sleeping on the bed all day if I let him!

I hope the leaky heart valve will be OK. I think they just keep an eye on things like that which is good.

Sending fluffy hugs from little Sam to you 🐕🐾🌼💜🌿💐😷🌸

    Hello Grandy, wave to everyone,

Happy Woof Day to Kya... she & Woofa are the same age just a month apart... I'm sure she will enjoy her pressie... does she try to get the bell out or just play with it?

It's good that the cardiologist is happy to just monitor your leaky valve... I think if it was serious he would try to get you into hospital... they tend to do that if they have even a slight concern...

That is good news that your brother has friends there supporting him... I'm sure along with your own grief you are worrying about how he is doing... it must be a comfort to know he is not alone at this time... I know you have said you are ok... lass it is ok to be sad & grieve... you have lost a family member... do be gentle with yourself... remember we are here for you if you want to talk.

I can't believe Mrs nsg's son drove to your town to visit... how irresponsible... I'm not surprised you're cross... I know you are being careful... but please lass do stay away from her for over two weeks after he has gone just to be extra careful...

    Huggliest of hugs

Dear love yes I had forgotten that beautiful name honey 🤗 completely understand. Sorry sweetyheart 😚

I've always liked the name Rachael and feel Susan would be nice too. Your choice gorgeous love.

I might have missed something about mrs nsc son coming down. Yes stay away for a while beautiful I agree.

I'm so glad they're watching the leaky valve. Sounds a bit yikes but they're aware which is fab. Are you feeling ok Grandy love? Overall actually and how are you mentally beautiful sss lady 💜☺

How nice having some warmth in the sun the other day. Must have been so good compared to the freezing days you have hun.

Grandz I hear the birdies better here i cluding sqauwkers (clueless on that spelling 😅) and always think of you as I do when I see the stars precious that's amongst constant thoughts and deep love for you darlinheart 🤗

Hello Hanna, Paws, Deebi👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩, and everyone...🤗..

Kya barked Thank you very much for her birthday wishes...woof woof....woof woof....she loves being spoilt..no Kya doesn’t try to get the bell out, she shakes it in her mouth and teases Ebony with it...Then goes races around the house with Ebony in hot pursuit...😂😂..

My Cardiologist told me that I’ll be tired for a couple of days after the “jab”...gee I dislike that name..thank you so much for confirming that for me..🤗..

I am trying not to worry about the leaky valve because it’s not to bad yet..I wish he didn’t tell about it...Then again I do trust him and his diagnosis.🤔..

I rang my brother yesterday, he I’d doing okay...has to get things packed up for the others so he can honour C’s wishes of what C wanted to go to who..and we both talked and cried together...I am okay...I started crying when my brother did...Always happens to me if I see or hear someone crying....It’s something I wish I didn’t do...it just happens...

I am very upset with Mrs. NSC son....it’s just so wrong....so much for traffic control!....anyhow I’m keeping away for at least 14 days after he leaves...

I haven’t heard from the ladies at darts..I think it stopped early last year..not sure though...

Susan Racheal Xxxxx is who I will call her...She looks like a Susan....Thank you Deebi...I so much wish that a specialist could find a cure for your back....or at least some type of treatment to stop the outs and pain associated with the out...

I haven’t done much of anything lately....couldn’t be bothered...although I did do some more diamond painting yesterday in the sun..it’s about half way done now...

I do love birds..they always seem to be happy chattering to each other as they fly here and their...I wonder how they survive these frosty mornings we have...They only have a thin layer of feathers, and we have to have so much clothes on us to keep warm....Mother Nature sure does looks after her creatures..we have to look after ourselves and protect ourself from Mother Nature...strange isn’t it?..

    Deep love 💚for you as well bbff..with a very big 🐻🧸 🤗..🦄👼..

Much love and bear hugs to everyone..💜🧸🤗..

Hi Grandy (waves to Deebi and everyone)

So glad to hear your furs had a happy day playing with the new toy!

I wanted to tell you it's all your fault for mentioning recently that you'd cleaned out your refrigerator - I started on mine today - now it's looking all bright and clean and shiny! See what you've done! I did most of the house yesterday and it makes you feel so much better when you get the house clean and tidy doesn't it?

We had a lovely walk by the river today, it's flooded so Sam went paddling around up to his tummy and loving it - and later we sat in the park and I had a cherry and choc chip ice cream and Sam ate the cone....

Oh and I got breathalized today - I was driving to the river and a police car put its lights on behind me and I pulled over to the curb wondering what I'd done wrong and people on the sidewalk all stopped to look... and he was lovely, he said it was just a random breath test (and all I'd had was my morning coffee) - gosh why do we instantly feel so anxious when a police car pulls us over!!! Phew.

Sending hugs from us both here oxoxoxoxo

    Hello Hanna! Waves 🌊 Deebi👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩, and everyone...🤗..

Awe Hanna I’m so sorry I mentioned cleaning out my fridge😂😂..doesn’t it make a huge difference to the way we feel when we open the door and it’s clean and sparkling...I am happy that you feel better...I put those thin non slip matting sheets on the glass shelves in my fridge...I just cut to size...helps with the glass jars sliding of the shelves...

Vinnies opened today so it’s back to work for me tomorrow and after work, I desperately need to do some shopping...I signed up for shop and collect at Woolworths, so I might order my groceries tonight and pick them up after work...

Has anyone reading here, used this service before?...My concern is the quality of fresh fruit and vegetables they will pack for me....I just started using fresh vegetables and am very fussy about the quality...

Oh no..,That would have been stressful for you until you knew why...I think the country police are very nice people...they take time to chat, instead of just doing their job and taking off....with a stern looking face.🤨..

That ice cream sounds so yummy...I have a very soft spot for ice cream...

Take good care of you Hanna..and everyone...goes for you to bbff..💚🧸🤗🌹...Much love to you..

My love, hugs with my care..,💜🦋🤗..everyone...

    Hi Grandy

I’ve used click & collect since last year and love it. I don’t often buy my fruit & veges from Woollies as we have a small business in our town who buys direct from the markets and I order online with them.

When I have brought from Woollies the quality has been fine though. You can add a comment to the item you’ve ordered, like with my tomatoes I don’t like mine over ripe so I make a note of that.

I have found it very convenient, and a much easier way to shop.

    Hope that helps, take care.

    Hi Grandy

I hope your day at the shop has gone well. I went to the big op.shop in town O yesterday and got several nice tops for a few dollars each including costly names like Noni B.

It's turned so cold here I'm hunkering in this arvo playing music and watching utube videos! I think Sam and I are both a bit tired after the long but happy day yesterday.

I found a lovely painting of a little old Australian farm cottage in our local op shop here this morning and I bought it as it reminds me of the little cottages I see nestled in the countryside on the drive to O town from here.

    I. Hope you keep warm and snug tonight it's definitely chilly!

    Hello SD0102, Hanna, 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩Deebi and everyone...🤗..

Thank you SD102...for sharing your experience with click and collect..you have given me the courage to try it next payment day...instead of going into the shop, which always me so anxious...I appreciate your help so much..

My day at the shop on Tuesday was not very good....There was absolutely no sorting until 1 small bag came in at 2pm....it took only 10 minutes to do....I was cleaning out back most of the day...

The boss in his wisdom made the new girl, who has only been at work about 2 months the co-ordinator for the day...as our usual co-ordinator wasn’t in....that was so unfair to do that..geez Betty* has been working their for 24 years and is always overlooked....plus the lady made co-ordinator, was very loud laughing joking in an unapproachable way with the boss when he showed up for a few hours...

Why do people act this way?....is it for advancement in their job?....Her words offended me and Betty* so much...No need for that kind of talk with the boss....next week she will be outback with me...I don’t think I will be going in next week...her talk is triggering for me...

My support worker took me to our local Dam....(only 5 kilometres from mine)...We drove up to the look out and looked over the water..this dam when filled holds 3x the amount of water then Sydney Harbour..it really was beautiful to see it at 62% capacity, when only a couple of years ago it was only at 3% water capacity....

Dogs are great for getting me out of a downer...Lol mumma fur baby had a dirty behind...and that made me get up off the lounge and give them both a shampoo..😂😂😂...they both protested...but now they are clean and sitting in the lounge room with both my air conditioner and heater on..so they are not cold...

I hope everyone reading has a good day today..

    Much love bbff💜👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🧸🤗🦄👼.. goes deep..

    Much love to everyone else..

    Hi Grandy

How are you going dear lady? Your trip to the dam sounds nice! I'm sorry about the lady in the shop with your boss. Do you go in tomorrow?

I'm having a very blah day. Just need help with my new tablet it's not working.... No company to help fill in the day... Just Sam.

I wonder why we nice people are so often alone.

Thank you for your kind words on my thread.

Sam and I send you hugs ☺️🎶🍀🌸🐕💕🐾🌻

    Hello Deebi👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩, Hanna and everyone....🤗..

    Thank you for your posts...

You are right Deebi, I should continue to go into the shop instead of click and collect...I only shop every second week and that’s before or after work...and it isn’t as bad as it was a couple of years ago...Thank you for caring enough to say what your thinking...so much love and respect I have for you my bbff....💚🌹🦄👼🤗🧸..

Okay so our co-ordinator isn’t coming in again...Means the newer girl will be co-ordinator again for the day...poor Betty*..I told her I’m not going in and she was a little upset, so I’ll be going in to work tomorrow....I can’t leave Betty alone with this person....Not that I’m any good for standing up to her...I suppose just being there with Betty might make her feel better in some way....

The Dam looked beautiful..it’s so full of water..I remember a couple of years ago, on the tv they showed the dam and we could see the old fences of the farms that was flooded when they built the dam...

I am sorry you day today is blah...and your feeling alone...I hope your new tablet gets fixed soon...it’s more lonely without it....I hope that you and Sam had a good time together today..Where would we be without our fur babies?.

Tomorrow is my first astra “jab”...and it’s also the anniversary of my husband passing away....not a good day to have the “Jab”..but I did promise my Dr. I would have it tomorrow...so tomorrow it is...I still feel afraid of having it....we haven’t had covid here...but it is moving closer and is in the sewage in the next bigger town from where I work...How on earth it gets in the sewage system?...

I hope everyone has a peaceful night tonight..

My love, hugs and care to everyone..💜🤗🌹🦋.

    👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩Grandy..

Tomorrow sounds like a difficult day for you dear Grandy... Do be kind to yourself. 💕

The river here has been flooded the past couple of weeks and it's lovely to see all the water gurgling over the rocks and all the doggies swimming or paddling in it. Little Sam likes to drink from the muddiest part, I wonder if the mud makes the water tastier???!! ☺️

I am trying to practice Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles and I've already forgotten the fingering my teacher taught me 😕

I've already decided I'm not going to measure up against the Beatles anyway!!! 😗

I hope tomorrow is OK. I think you will help the other lady just by being there with her.

    Hugs 🎸🎶🎇⛲🦚🐦💐🦠

    Dear Grandy,

you are fantastic, you really motivate me to be a better person and to achieve more in my day. I have booked my first astra jab and go later this week. I have been hesitant too and am still in two minds. But I live in WA we have had virtually no covid and th community is not vaccinating, so we are sitting ducks for a severe outbreak at some point. It is not dying that would bother me, but dying in an intensive care of severe pulmonary disease would not be nice. You are doing the right thing.

yes go in and just be with Betty, don’t pay more attention to the other lady than you need to, just enjoy the day out and being with Betty.

you need to give yourself more credit for the person you are.

    Tess
