    Hi Flower Earth angel

I would say that this depends on how you feel about it? If you do or don’t mind sharing your personal story with complete strangers. For some it might be important to build up some trust first, maybe even a friendship or at least get to know each other a little. Others don’t mind sharing very personal details straight away.

You have to be comfortable with what you decide to share.

how can anyone feel comfortable sharing when its so hard to explain it

i guess taking them to therapy and explaining it will help but i find that will also be very hard too

ive tried alot with new and old friends to open up and no one got my disabilties so i have only online as my social - sad i dont go anywhere with anyone mostly alone

and lockdown is still another month

im really down tonight sitting alone - nothing new!

    Dear Flower Earth Angel~

It's nice to hear from you again, and that you want to find someone, at least for a date.

I've faced similar problems, though it was a fair while ago now and found that if one's disabilities, both mental and physical, are not that obvious then why put it out front? I made a passing reference to past stress issues and left it at that. It was only after the person got to know me and was interested in me did I open up a little more, starting with the physical hassles.

Now I'm completely frank and was before we permanently hitched.

I don't think that was unfair or dishonest, you simply open up more as you get closer. Also if nothing much is mentioned at the start there can be no false feelings of pity to cloud the issue. I would suggest you opt for a quiet place to meet as - if I remember correctly - you have a hearing injury.

I don't think anybody is perfect and people look past injuries and see the real you if the have affection for you.

    Hi Flower Earth angel

Thank you for your quick response.

how can anyone feel comfortable sharing when its so hard to explain it

My answer to you might’ve sounded shallow or irrelevant, however, it was only based on your question as I had no other details to hang on to. Meant no harm but if I misunderstood you, it would be due to lack of any details.

I am hear you listen and chat more if you ever feel like sharing a few more details.
