Hey Auton and Nervybella,
It's lovely to hear from you both.
I'm in Sydney and living alone with a bunch of pets. I'm normally quite happy with being on my own, and I was fine last year, but I find the biggest challenge for me is actually trying to care for friends and family who need more social contact than I do. So, ironically, I'm communicating more with people (virtually of course) and finding that really tiring!
So it's quite interesting and nice to hear from you two with your own experiences and challenges.
Bella, congrats on the new job! The timing is unfortunate, but I am sure you'll learn in time - are your work colleagues and manager supportive?
Auton, good to hear you're a stickler for the rules. We need more of you around :) It's a tough balance between being cautious but not overly panicked. But I think Aus generally has a good health system, especially in the main cities, so I trust we are in good hands regardless.
