I like that birdy and I do try to be the positive things of my parents but I often have some of their annoying but charming habits too, according to my children.

For anyone who has lost someone they loved or is worried about a loved one’s time remaining in this world:

Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief there was great love.

    - Unknown

Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corner of your eyes, the lump in your throat and that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.

    - unknown

But perhaps most importantly in my opinion:

No rulebook. No time frame. No judgement. Grief is as individual as a fingerprint. Do what is right for Your soul.

    Thanks Pepper.

Grief has no use by date.

Grief can take you by surprise.

    Never apologise for grief.

I think sometimes in our society some people are afraid to show their emotions and so can be overwhelmed by the intensity of their grief.

It’s okay to “just be” taking time for yourself,

without the pressure of being busy..

    Its not a weakness,

It’s finally saying I am worth it!..

    Strange, isn't it?

You know yourself better than anyone else, yet you crumble at the words of someone who hasn't even lived a second of your life. Focus on your own voice, it's the only one that matters.

    Hello everyone...

Something I found on the net..I thought I would share..

“A wise teacher once brought balloons to school, told her pupils to blow them up and write their name on one. After the children tossed their balloons into the hall, the teacher moved through the hall mixing them all up. The kids were given five minutes to find the balloon with their name on it, but though they searched frantically, no one found their own balloon.

Then the teacher told them to take the balloon closest to them and give it to the person whose name was on it. In less than two minutes, everyone was holding their own balloon.

The teacher said to the children, “These balloons are like happiness. We won’t find it when we’re only searching for our own. But if we care about someone else’s happiness…it will ultimately help us find our own.”

some mornings you will wake up and you just won't be sure of who you are. in these moments, I like to turn toward the sun and feel the rays of warmth on my skin, shout or whisper with every cell in my body, "I belong!", because this is the only thing I know for certain - even when we feel the weight of fear and doubt and are unsure of where we are headed, we are still allowed to show up as our true selves.

It's not really words of wisdom or anything, but a song suggestion I think could help people who need some extra hope, comfort and whatnot.
