    Ah,
    kindness.
    What a
    simple
    way to
    tell
    another
    struggling
    soul that there
    is love to be
    found in this
    world.

Be confused, it’s where you begin to learn new things.

Be broken, it’s where you begin to heal.

Be frustrated, it’s where you start to make more authentic decisions.

Be sad, because if we are brave enough we can hear our heart’s wisdom through it.

Be whatever you are right now. No more hiding. You are worthy, always.

    S.C. Lourie

(P.S. thanks Paul, mine was quiet and included pizza, wine and sunshine 😊 hope yours treated you kindly)

Some periods of our growth are so confusing that we don’t even recognise that growth is happening. We may feel hostile or angry or weepy and hysterical, or we may feel depressed. ... We were in fact in the process of change, of actually becoming larger, spiritually, than we were before. Whenever we grow, we tend to feel it, as a young seed must feel the weight and inertia of the earth as it seeks to break out of its shell on its way to becoming a plant. Often the feeling is anything but pleasant. But what is most unpleasant is the not knowing what is happening. Those long periods when something inside ourselves seems to be waiting, holding its breath, unsure about what the next step should be, eventually become the periods we wait for, for it is in those periods that we realise that we are being prepared for the next phase of our life and that, in all probability, a new level of the personality is about to be revealed.

    Hello everyone...

This is something I really value because it is so very true...

A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked. "Who would like this $20 bill?"

Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you - but first, let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he replied, "what if I do this?" He dropped it on the
ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No
matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless; but no matter what happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still
priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes, not in what we do or who we know, but by ...WHO WE ARE.

You are special - don't ever forget it."

    Hi birdy (and all),

Thank you so much for your resssuring and, as always, deeply caring words. The same goes for you too. You know that, right? Thank you for sharing your beautiful heart, your thoughtfulness and gentle comfort (to so many) despite all that you’re going through...you have a truly generous nature.

We are sitting with you in your silence. No words needed. Nothing required...simply sitting and keeping you company...

Now, this next one is for you (dear birdy), lovely Grandy, gracious Dools and anyone in need of some comfort plus it ties in with the silence theme:

Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular. But just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported.

    - unknown.

    Love,

    Pepper xoxo

May we all have a day where we know in our hearts and especially our minds, that someone does love and care for us.

This thread is a beautiful place of encouragement and caring.

    Huge hugs to you all.

    I've endured this discomfort before
    and survived it,
and so I can survive it today.
I've felt these feelings before and sat with them,
and so I can sit with them today.
I've felt like giving in before and held on to hope,
and so I can continue to hold on today.
I made it through yesterday, and so,
I can also make it through today.
    I can do it.
    I will do it.
    I am doing it.
I am strong and I am capable. I will not give up.
