mb20lover so are the pills working at all. you should be feeling OK. It sounds like you have a good Psychiatrist. tell him how you are feeling. I can't get to see me unless I pay for it. and they don't come cheap.

Hi sunnyl20, Thanks for the reply, Yes t's a pretty dark place at the moment,a little bit os light would be just dandy. A plan for the next couple of months would be great. I'm a the point where I don't know what to do. I really want to see a Psychiatrist, but I'm going to have to pay for one. Going public, I have to go through a mental health team who have talks with a Psychiatrist each day. and then get back to me, That's as close as I can get to on,e. The other thing I was going to try was DBR, I just have to find someone who does the courses.I'm willing to try anything, but at the moment I can't see this anxiety going away by itself. Cheere

Hi nelson001 all I can say is sometimes mental health sucks 😔 I’ve been on the same antidepressant since a week before covid 19 was first mentioned and was doing good but then my moods started sea sawing again slowly like it did pre antidepressants. And then I had a dream (well I say dream but I don’t think it was a dream but it was not a nightmare either) in the very early hours of this morning that I woke up literally full on crying from it.

I'm not sure if they're working Nelson, I have Major Depressive Disorder & Dysthymia (my Psychiatrist diagnosed me with both, Dysthymia is also Depression), PTSD, Avoidant Personality Disorder, Anxiety/Generalised Anxiety Disorder, & Social Anxiety/Social Phobia as my diagnoseses, and I also get really paranoid.

Yes my Psychiatrist is good, he's the only one I've seen, & I have since 2019. I see mine through a Telehealth company because he's in another state & I've always seen him like that, I wish I could meet him in person sometimes though (I don't mean that in a creepy way). He's nice. I try to tell him, my GP and my parents (who try to be as helpful & supportive as they can) as much as possible regarding side effects & so forth. So they bulk bill through Medicare. It's called GP2U, they have Psychiatrists, GPs, Psychologists & more. I'm not having any luck with Psychologists & I've seen some through there, but that's just my experience, personally I give up with Psychologists given the bad traumatic experiences I've had & that I keep getting let down.

But I hope you find some professionals (if you wish) that are helpful to you. Sorry it's so expensive, I understand.

Mocha - yep you're right. I'm sorry to hear about your battles with antidepressants too.

Hi ya mb20lover, Hey man you are not a failer. You manage to use this post pretty well. Why don't you get yourself a job. I know that is easier said than done. Start off on some volunteer work where you go when you want and you get yourself into a routine. It would do wonders to your head. A good job gives you a big high, plus the people you meet make it all worthwhile. Centrelink should be able to get something going for you. Take care. cheers Nelson

Hi Nelson, I've already tried that but in this crap town I can't volunteer, join groups or work. It's discrimination. Been here since 2018.

    I'm on the DSP though.
