    Hi C

I'm so sorry to hear about your step dad. Losing him would bring lots of grief. I'm just so sorry. Huge hugs.

Were you able to catch up with your real dad?

Have you been able to talk through some of your feelings with a psych?

This is a difficult time for you on so many levels, please reach out and tell us how you're going.
Crying is a good release, sometimes it's hard to write to us when you're crying but we're still here and care about you.

Sending lots of love and Prayers for your healing.
    EM

Hi Centaured, in addition to all the sensitive and perceptive comments from EcoMama, Monkey Magic and The moderators,

I felt the same as Paul when I read your post - I wanted to say its okay to cry.
It's also okay to be angry and frustrated

I think you reactions are so healthy - much more worrisome when people can't express these emotions, which I struggled with at times.

if it's okay, i just wanted to share that i also feel quite angry for you that the MH services/hospital support where you are, isn't up to scratch. It's very much luck of the draw with these services. You've said this many times and so many others on the forum have also.
    It's not fair.

I'm glad the nurses can be nice and you got a nice case manager, hoping you continue to encounter caring staff and people

I'm sorry about the other day. I couldn't post because I was unsafe.
I'm seeing my psychologist this morning and I'm going to tell her what's going through my head. I have no idea how today will pan out. I gotta try I guess.

I ended up being admitted to the psych ward a few days following my appointment.
There are a lot of stuff going on I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about.

    Hi C

You don't have to talk about it...

What are your plans for today?

The SUN is brightly shining here! A warm welcoming start...

Have you got some food to prepare?

Love to you and Prayers for your healing

Food is going to be too hard today. I'm at my highest weight and it makes me want to quit recovery. Weight gain is something I'm not ready for, despite it being something vital to recovery.

It's cloudy here, i have a friend coming over this afternoon hopefully it lifts by then.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm sorry to hear you were unsafe again last night.

    How are you feeling today?

Is there something pleasant you can do for yourself today?

Sometimes we need to take a breather after an unpleasant experience Even the most highly MH qualified people do this to bliss out for a while.

It's important to set realistic things for ourselves.
    Be kind to yourself,

EM I'll probably never be safe tbh.

Mh pretty much refused to see me. Dr just came out and said he's pushing for it. I'll soon find out what's happening.

How can they "refuse" to see you?

That's not even in the realm of possibility is it?

You WILL get well. You're there now and I hope they pull everything out of the box for your wellness C.

EM they can. They told me to speak to my case manager tomorrow.
But the dr said I had to stay and that they had to see me. So I'm still here waiting.

Hi C thanks for popping back in to let us know how you're feeling.

You do know how, it's been heavily clouded by all this and that's a huge thing to overcome mentally. Esp after what you've been through in ED.

If you've got diagnoses and are unable to work, I would contact a NDIS provide and ask them if they can help you. Do you have one already?

    Eat something.
    Bathe.
    Sleep.

EM I'm in the process of trying to get on the NDIS.

I'm also going into a residential program for a week on Monday. I'm hoping it can reset a few things for me. I can't function anymore and no one really knows what to do. It's so hard.

    Darling it is so hard.

I'm very glad to hear you are getting support!

The residential program sounds really positive for you. Have you attended one before?

How are you feeling about this?

NDIS may be a hassle but so worth it if you can get this support.

The recovery program was ok. But as the to risk is too high I'm not allowed back there. The day I left the program I did a significant attempt.

I'm currently in hospital. And will find out tomorrow if I'm to do ECT. I'm scared and relieved.

Has anyone don't ect before. Did it help

    Hey blondguy

I start ECT treatment on Monday.

I'm severely unwell atm which is why my team decided on this option.
Idk if I'm allowed to mention but I've attempted suicide ten times over the last 3 weeks. Somehow I'm alive and rn it doesn't feel like a good thing but I'm currently safe. I'm finding solice in music for now.
