    Dear Ava,

You have made such a brave and important step by leaving your husband.

I know it is incredibly hard, but just by starting the separation process, you are doing well.

You said you live alone, but do you have anyone to support you through this time?

IsaJett has given you a helpline number, please use that if you feel you need immediate support.

I am glad you've come to the forums here as well. We will cheer you on as you go through this difficult period towards a better life.

I know there will be times when you are tempted to go back to him. But you know in your heart that you need to be away from him and that you deserve a better life than what you had with him.

Nobody deserves the cruelty you were receiving at his hands.

It will be hard, but the longer you stay away from him, the easier it will start to feel. You need to break that connection with him, and every time you go back or have contact, it enables him to reconnect that toxic energy between you.

    You can do this Ava!

There is a happy, safe and bright future ahead, just waiting for you.

    I believe in you.

Stay strong and come here to talk any time.

    🌻birdy
