    Hello all

I have always been a strong person but lately I am feeling down. Never happy and very critical of myself and others . A little anxious and depressed, it’s starting to affect my life at home and work. There’s no real reason for me to feel like this , no money or health issues.

    Please help

Hello confusedangry, I want to welcome you to the forum. This is a friendly place with supportive and kind people.

I can understand how you feel confused when you see yourself as strong and now

you feel down. Feeling down is not a sign of not being strong.

I wonder has something happened recently in your personal or work or in you social and family life? I realise you have said there was no reason and no money and health issues, but I am thinking could be anything positive or not positive, could be something small . Of course there may be no reason at all.

Have you spoken to anyone, friends or family or your local GP about how you are feeling?

How is the way you feeling affecting your life at home at work. ?

Well done for reaching out and sharing your story.

know many people will have felt like you are now. You are not alone.

    There is support here.

If you want to discuss things further, feel free to post if you want to.

Not sure of any particular reasons for how I feel, worst is I feel like it’s me against the rest at work. My home life is ok but I just don’t have any drive for sex or fun . Going to try and get to the GP and get some information.

    Dear Confusedangry

Welcome to the forum. It's good to meet you and pleased you have found your way to this community.

It's not good when you consider yourself to be a strong person and then find this strength lacking at times. It is normal to feel like this at times but it does come as a shock to the system. Good idea to see your GP. May I suggest you take a little time to write down how you feel? I know when I see a doctor and have much to discuss I forget some things and on the way home remember and become frustrated.

Have you explored this site? There is a lot of information available under The Facts at the top of the page. You may also like to browse some of the other forums to see what is written there. It can be surprising to read about how other people get on.

I hope you see your GP soon and get the information you need. We are here whenever you want to post in again.

    Mary
