    Hi,
    I'm new, but have posted a couple of threads.
    I struggle with anxiety but try to live my life as best l can. I would like to be able to manage my anxiety a little better.
    It is good to be able to connect with others who have similar issues.

    I understand your pain as I used to have chronic anxiety for a long time and its a horrible place to be in. As you are probably aware there are various levels of anxiety that we experience. If you wish to elaborate on how anxiety effects your well being we can provide a more effective reply

    Hi ecomama, and blondguy,
    I get some social anxiety if l am in a group of people l don't know very well.

    I do tend to catastrophise about things.

    I find it hard to take charge of some situations, and tend to let others take the lead....which is something l want to work on.

    I use meditation and breathing techniques to manage it.
