I have also lived with depression in the past and I still exhibit a number of BPD criteria, but probably not enough to qualify for a proper diagnosis anymore. I understand what you mean by feeling most at home and accepted in hospital - I genuinely really enjoyed being in hospital even though it was the worst I had felt.
I am glad you are finding it generally not too bad being in isolation. We are also not social butterflies and we have pets to keep us busy at home.
You mentioned that you actively chose to register onto the forum today because you wanted to meet some people with similar experiences.
