Question: sorry if it's a silly one.

on a thread- if there's 10 pages is there a way to go to page 3 (just as an example).

I can only seem to ever go from the first page to the last page.

    Thanks Chris.

    Emmy :)

Hi Emmy, if you're on a desktop machine it's easy to choose which page as all the page numbers are displayed. On mobile, there's not as much room so there are just the two options at the moment:

<>> double arrows will take you to the very end or very beginning of the thread

<> single arrows will take you to the previous or next page

We're working on getting it fixed but I don't have a timeframe at the moment unfortunately.

One workaround, which isn't the easiest, is to go into the URL at the top of the page and type in the page number you want to skip to.

    For example, on this thread:

    https://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support/online-forums/welcome-and-orientation/new-here-please-read-3-tips-for-getting-the-most-out-of-the-forums/page/2#qkz12nHzvGGEbv8AAOnT_A

Change the number after page/ from 2 to whichever page you want to skip to.

Hi Chris, I have just registered on this community as I have just beaten extreme depression. 2 Years of anxiety and depression, something you wouldn't want your worst enemy to have. I have had a great life, have a great family (which I now appreciate) and and a great career as a professional. I have seen the light that there is more to life than success in business and now I want to give back to people who need support and maybe save someone, just like I was saved. I would love to share my story, which I have documented. Can you please guide me on how I can help people in need and/or share my story on how I beat this terrible illness. Thanks Flavio

Hi Flavio, welcome to the community and great to hear you're in a position where you feel able to provide support for others. My best suggestion would be to get involved in the community here. We have many people daily seeking support for depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and other related life issues. Have a read through the threads and provide some insights about what worked for you to recover. Feel free to start your own thread detailing your own recovery story as well.

I'm feeling terrible. Brand new here. Need a little help pretty quickly. Not so worried about technical page issues. Is there a place here that would be good for me to visit?

Hi Tiaisbrave, welcome to the forums.  If you're needing help pretty quickly, you'd be better off calling our support service on 1300 22 4636 or logging in to live webchat with one of our counsellors so you can get immediate support.

When you have more time, you can re-read the first post in this thread and have a browse through the rest of the threads in the Welcome section to see if this space is right for you ongoing.

Hi dolly, thanks for joining the forums. Are you able to start a new thread please? That's the best way to get support, as this thread is just an introductory tips thread. If you're not sure how to start a new thread, please email us and we can send you some instructions.
