I think I may be experiencing depression and anxiety. I have have been diagnosed with PTSD about ten years ago. What do you suggest is the best place on this website for me to find some help. In appreciation.

    Dear Mark,

Welcome to Beyond Blue and well done for reaching out.

I think that by posting here on this forum, like you have, is certainly a great start to finding help. As for exactly which forum, or indeed which 'channel' is right for you, is perhaps one of trial and error?

Also, I'd like to ask that if you have not seen a counselor since your diagnosis 10 years ago, perhaps you could consider seeing one now? It might help to have someone to talk things through with, yeah? They may be able to help you to develop come strategies so that you don't get to overwhelmed with intrusive thoughts and feelings.

In the meantime, you are welcome here for as long, and as much as you like. After all, that's what we are here for; to help out folks just like yourself.

Feel free to respond to this thread, or start a new one, that may be more specific as to what exactly it is that is bothering you.

Take care, I'll be thinking of you. xo
