Hi all. I am a newbie, recently diagnosed with depression. It was a bit of a shock as I felt I was doing ok. It was the advice of workmates and family that convinvced me to see someone.

Working through things now I realise some things I could not see. Hopefully good things to come.

welcome and thanks for your first post.

I can understand that it would be a shock when you thought you were doing ok.

This is a friendly, and supportive forum. You can browse other threads and find topics that may help you or read topics about depression. Everyone has a different journey so learning more about what helps you and doesnt help you will make things clearer.

Thanks for writing your first post.

    Hi Trence,

Glad you have joined. I just joined today, so I'm a newbie too! I'm hoping that this forum is a way to connect with others, and a safe space to talk with others who are going through stuff, so we can support each other, because I don't know about you but I certainly feel quite alone at the moment with how I'm feeling.
