The COVID-19 pandemic and your mental health
The COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions that were in place have presented many challenges to people’s mental health.
You may have been affected by the prolonged periods of uncertainty. Or impacted by restrictions such as lockdowns, travel limits and changes to your workplace or school.
Perhaps you're unsettled by the changes that have happened as you adapt to the different ways and routines of daily life.
Regardless, many of the resulting mental health impacts are ongoing. Some are only now becoming coming clear.
While it’s natural to want to put the pandemic behind you, it remains really important to:
• be aware of how you’re feeling
• check in with those close to you
• seek information, advice and support if you’re concerned about yourself or someone you know.
