It was 4:45am in Manila when Gavin got the phone call that shattered his life.
Already feeling lonely and disconnected, far away from friends and family for his new job, Gavin fumbled for the phone and heard his sister say: “Hayden is gone.”
His firstborn son had taken his own life.
