Matched giving campaign triples the impact of the Beyond Blue Support Service

17 June 2020

Community donors will have their gift tripled during a matched giving campaign launched today in support of the Beyond Blue Support Service.

Every dollar donated to Beyond Blue goes to the Support Service, which has experienced unprecedented demand this year due to the mental health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Support Service relies on donations, but physical distancing requirements have caused the cancellation of many community fundraising events.

From today until 30 June or the target of $300,000 is reached, every donation made through this campaign in support of the Beyond Blue Support Service will be tripled with the help of Corporate Match 2.0, Hunter Lab, Lionize and VivCourt.

The businesses will match every dollar received, which means three times as many people will be supported with each donation.

Beyond Blue CEO Georgie Harman thanked community donors and the businesses involved for their generosity.

“Every donation we receive goes entirely towards the Beyond Blue Support Service, and I thank Corporate Match 2.0, Hunter Lab, Lionize and VivCourt for giving our wonderful community supporters the chance to triple the impact of their donations,” Ms Harman said.

“The Support Service provides free and immediate counselling, advice and referrals for people who want to improve their mental health or are worried about a loved one who is going through a difficult time.

“The service is available free of charge right around Australia so people can get the support they need when they need it.”
