The Stress Bucket
This bucket represents you, while the water represents the stresses in your life.
We can all handle a bit of water, but when it comes too fast for too long, we reach our limit to what we can handle.
We need to create a buffer between our current water level and the top of the bucket.
You can do this in two main ways.
Firstly, by reducing the amount of water flowing into the bucket, taking the pressure down. Maybe it's time to reassess priorities or say no to some things to give yourself some breathing space.
Or secondly, you can create a buffer by getting better at removing water that's already in the bucket. You can do this by practicing the self-care skills you'll learn in this program, such as improving your sleep, learning relaxation strategies, being kinder to yourself, connecting with other people, and making a contribution.
These are all the things you'll learn in this program, which help to drill holes in the side of your bucket to help lower your stress levels.
These simple small acts help you create that buffer from your stress so you're able to go about your day in a healthier state of mind.
