Beyond Blue is grateful to the following Trusts and Foundations for their recent philanthropic support.
Abercromby’s Real Estate is supporting the marketing of NewAccess in active catchment areas. Funds have been used to coordinate a modest national promotions campaign to promote knowledge of NewAccess programs and break down stigma barriers which has resulted in more people accessing a service that is clinically proven to achieve recovery.
Newman’s Own Foundation have supported Beyond Blue to develop a capacity building resource for intermediaries working with small business owners, to equip them with the appropriate knowledge and skills to disseminate useful workplace mental health information to small business owners. We will also identify those key resources for small business owners and package it for dissemination.
Wheatley Family Foundation
The Wheatley Family Foundation contributed to the evaluation of the New Access/Headspace Program (Evaluation) run by the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network with support from Beyond Blue.
Beyond Blue and the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network headspace offices have collaborated to trial the delivery of the NewAccess program to young people aged 12-25 years, in the Murrumbidgee catchment. This evaluation project is an essential part of the process to ensure the program is effective for this age group and importantly, one that will inform and guide its future.
The Lionel and Yvonne Spencer Trust
The Lionel and Yvonne Spencer Trust have funded enhancements to our suicide prevention app, BeyondNow. In collaboration with at-risk communities, we will create a suite of enhancements and relaunch BeyondNow, ensuring it is accessible to everyone, including Indigenous and LGBTI people.
