In February 2018, we asked blueVoices members for feedback and ideas on the blueVoices Connect forum and what kinds of topics you’d like to discuss.
The idea voted most popular was sharing articles written and submitted by blueVoices members.
In response to this feedback we are now pleased to invite members to submit ideas for their written articles. As the expert on your mental health experience and what works for you, we’d love to be able to share your wisdom with other members.
If you have a topic you'd like to share we'd love to hear about it!
How it will work
The topic that you write about should be related to mental health or wellbeing but feel free to be as creative and expressive as you like and write about something that’s important and meaningful to you. Also think about what might be useful or interesting to other members.
Some ideas could be:
- apps that you find useful and why
- pets and the effect they can have on wellbeing
- your experience sitting on a committee or taking part in a blueVoices activity
- exercise and mental health
- your experience of being a peer worker or mental health advocate
The blueVoices Team is here to support you and will work with you through the process of posting and replying. If you're nervous about posting that's fine, we can work with you and give advice along the way.
We hope that this will be a fun way to broaden the range and depth of information on the blueVoices Forum, and share some of the wisdom and experience that blueVoices members hold with others in the blueVoices community.
