    Hi Missep.

Victoria is doing very well at the moment. Almost feels like the pandemic is gone but it still hangs over all of us. It worries me that we may have another breakout. Fingers crossed it never happens.

My dog is doing great. She is such a gorgeous bundle of fun and friendship.

Good luck with your career change.

Hope it works out just as you wish.

This year I have gone to 4 days instead of 5. A whole day just to do whatever. After 37 years of full time teaching i am loving my day off a week.

Stay safe in NSW do what makes you smile.

    Talk soon.

    Staying positive and calm.

Wow how we have all been on such a ride in the last 12 months.

    Feels surreal.

Fingers crossed we are looking to the beginning of something great.

    Hi Missep.

Here we go again in Victoria.

Let's hope it does get on top of the covid oubreak.

Unfortunately lockdown does effect the house sale with no opens or auctions at the moment.

Fingers crossed all will work out.

Hope you are well and NSW can stay safe in fact all places everywhere.

I do wonder how Gems is going.

Take care and enjoy a beautiful week end.

    Hi Sarahbelle!

    You got this!

My heart really went out to you guys in Victoria, I hope that this lockdown really stops the COVID from spreading.

Being in lockdown myself was tough but the aftermath was very worth it!

I hope that it goes quickly for you and then the house sale can keep going!

I was wondering how gems is going too.

Thank you for your kind thoughts.

Reach out here during this challenging time!

    Hi Missep.

Hope you are well and happy.

Where does time go......it tends to fly.

    I am doing well.

House was auctioned on the weekend however did not sell.....negotiations under way so fingers crossed. Need to move forward and feeling a bit stuck at the moment.

Lockdown went quickly. So glad it was only 5 days. Seemed to do what was intended which is great.

I feel positive vaccination will make a huge difference for all.

Please take care and let me know what you are up to.

    Fond regards

    Sarahbelle.

    Hi Sarahbelle!

I'll cross my fingers for you too, negotiations underway sounds very promising! I know that selling houses during this time can be very tricky so I have no doubt that it will start moving soon!

I am so glad that everything seems to be going well in VIC. Things are seeming to go back to normal here in NSW. I am very hopeful for the vaccine too. I really want to visit my family in Japan but I have to wait until everything gets better and is safer to return.

    Great to hear from you!

    Hi missep123,

I totally agree, we have come so far in 12 months.

On a personal level I've grown so much over CODVID, it really made me adapt and grounded me in a good way.

    THE OBSTACLE IS THE WAY!

    Hi Sarahbelle

Just saying hello and thankyou for the balanced and helpful thread! I was fortunate as the counselling for my anxiety involved learning 'calm & genuine acceptance' of my anxiety symptoms/or any negative event

I know the 5 day lockdown was a pain (especially selling your home) yet my 'acceptance therapy' kicked in and it wasnt really a big deal. Congrats on the sale of your home...Nice1

    have a great weekend :-)

    Hi guys!

I agree! I think that we have all grown so much and despite being a very challenging time has helped a lot of us to really think about what makes us happy and learn more about ourselves.

I really can't wait until things go back to normal but for now I think I'm okay which is a nice thing to feel

    Hello.

It is a year to the day when Victoria went into lockdown and today we have no covid cases. So amazing and unbelievable at the same time.

Many parts of 2020 has become a blurr but such hope and promise on the horizons.

I have made so many connections on this thread and all of you helped me so much with your kind and gentle words. You were my allies and sounding board when things were tough and I will always be grateful to you.

I am also more strong today with a greater sense of purpose and what truly matters.

We all matter. We are all important and have a place on this earth to blossom and be kind to one another.

Moving forward I will keep in touch with this thread. We still have so much to share.

Keep well and thankyou for your well wishes.

    Hi Missep.

Well life goes on and seems to be so busy.

I have been away over Easter in the bush.

A lovely time to reflect and trace my mum's footsteps as a child.

Hope all is well with you and you are happy.

    How are your wedding plans?.

    Love Sarahbelle.🐕🐕🐕🐕

    Hi Sarahbelle!

    Great to hear from you!

That is so nice to honour your mum in that way, I think that is so lovely.

What did you do in the bush?

Thank you very much, I'm still very unsure! Perhaps a civil easy ceremony, I just want to take really nice photos that I can frame :)

    How's your dog doing!

    Hi Missep.

Cannot believe it is now one year that we have been chatting. So nice to still say hello and catch up.

I am sure your wedding photos will be beautiful and a lovely way to mark your special day.

In the bush I had such a lovely time imagining the life my mum had. It would have been a very sparse life, simple but filled with adventure and love.

I enjoyed breathing the fresh air and feeling close to my mum.

    I miss her so much.

Where she came from in the Mallee is now only bush. All the township has gone.

My dog is too cute. So much fun and such a cuddly girl. We had a lovely walk in the park today.

    How about your little pug?

Will it be in your wedding photos too, now that would be cute.

    Enjoy the week ahead.

    Take care. Talk soon.

    Hi Sarahbelle!

Lovely to speak with you too!

I can't believe it's been a year too, it has gone by so quickly!

Your time in the bush sounds like a lovely way to walk in your mum's footsteps and honour her. I really think that's so wonderful!

My pug is good! That is a great idea, if I can put a little costume on her for a photo that would be adorable!

How's everthing with your house going? Did you finalise the sale?

    Love to speak to you!

    Hi Missep.

A beautiful sunny Sunday in Melbourne. This time last year would not have believed it was possible to have such freedom.

My house sale finalises in June, which is fast approaching.

I am looking forward to everything being settled and moving forward.

Just home from a lovely walk with my dog, now we are taking things easy. Quiet mothers day as my son is recovering from surgery but he will be fine soon and we will have a celebration then

    How are you going?

    Wedding plans getting closer?.

    Take care.

    Hi Sarahbelle!

The house sale is going to be finalised so soon! I feel as though time went by so quickly.

I found myself reflecting yesterday on 2020. I am so grateful for where we are now. I feel like last year was truly a testing year but I find that I am much more appreciative of the things in my life now.

I wish your son a speedy recovery! And a Happy Mother's Day to you!

I have been very busy with studying so wedding planning has been on the back burner! My partner has moved from a high paying full-time job to a casual job because he was so burnt out. He is so much happier now but it means that finances will be quite tight for a while. Most importantly though is that we are both happy :)

I hope you take care as well!

    Hi Missep.

I hope this message finds you well and happy.

How are your studies going? I remember study days well. Can be a stressful time but also enjoyable when we are studying what we love.

Back in lockdown. It is not as frightening this time round probably because we have been through it before. We closed the school yesterday and said goodbye to the children yet again.

Managed to have a lovely walk with this afternoon.

    Wishing you well. Take care.

    Hi Sarahbelle!

I like the way that you said that! I hope this message finds you well and happy too!

You are so resilient! Looking back to last year and everything that we have went through - I can really see your strength and it is amazing that you have stayed positive through this new lockdown again. I feel as though we are adjusting (as much as we can) to the new normal for now. At least things are looking up and we have more information that we did last year!

My studies are going well! 3 more left and then done! It has been a bit stressful because in total I have had 16 assignments/assesments this semester but I have been powering through.

I hope you have a lovely day and I look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Missep.

Good luck with all your assignments, a very busy time for you.

Crazy times in Victoria again with numbers rising.

I am working from home again. Get my vaccine this afternoon.

At the moment just a watch and wait approach to the situation.

This time around I feel much more in control of myself. Just keeping fingers crossed that all goes well for everyone.

    Thankyou for your continued kindness.

    Hi Sarahbelle!

I apologise for my late reply, I just completed my 16th (and final) assessment for the semester!

Thank you for your kind words, how have you been recently?

I have been spending some time off the computer since I have spent so many hours on it previously. I am feeling like I am recharging my batteries.

I agree, it is a crazy time! I think the numbers have been looking better in VIC recently, is that right?

I think that you have shown so much bravery and self-growth and awareness despite the extremely turbulent times!

Thank you for your continued kindness too!

I too am sorry for late reply.

I understand how studying can be all consuming and it is important to be able to take time to recharge.

I am sure you will have great success.

Time seems to be going so quickly with not enough hours in the day.

Dark going to work and dark getting home.

Hope all is going ok for you with the outbreak of Covid. We are just returning to normal as you begin a scarey time. Seems never ending.

    Take good care.

    Hi Sarahbelle,

thank you for your kind thoughts and support!

I agree, the plus side to it being dark is that the days are slowly getting longer and longer. I really love it when it's still bright at 8pm so I will look forward to that again!

Things are escalating in Sydney again but so far I am feeling okay about it, it feels as though I have had a lot of 'practice' by now of how things escalate and then return to normalcy.

I am so glad that things are getting better in Victoria! You guys did an amazing job.

Look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Missep.

So sorry I have not messaged for awhile.

I have had to move to an air bnb whilst my house is renovated. Quite an experience but will be so happy when all is complete.

My lovely dog has settled well.

I was thinking of you with all the covid worries in Sydney.

I do hope you are well and coping with the situation. Very scarey for you.

I send my love and understanding.

    Take special care.
