I am thankful for my job and the team I work with, my laptop and the photo editing program on it that i used tonight for the first time in 18 months and actually remembered how to do stuff, and for the days I get to sleep-in, especially when that day is a Monday! Woohoo!

I have a quote which says "Attitude is 10 percent what happens to me, and 90 percent how I react to it." ..... I'm not saying that life is always easy, because we all know it's not. But it sure does help to remember to be grateful for things, whether they are big, little or otherwise.

Anyway, I've had a pretty great day today, and just wanted to 'share the love' and hopefully encourage you too to remember the good stuff. xo

Well that sounds upbeat and a good thing to do, will join in with that @soberlicious96!

Well I got a new work phone which is quite exciting, and I'm finally home which means am about 4 hours away from bed time - rough night's sleep last night with the mind racing, insomnia occasionally wipes a bit of the bounce. Still, plenty to be thankful for. Some kind soul had donated a few beaten up Easter Eggs in the work kitchen, and since I don't usually eat chocolate, the sugar high kicked me up a few gears. It's the simple things!

This is a nice thread. Thanks for starting it. I'm thankful for my dog who's my constant companion and doesn't care what kind of day I'm having :) She also gets me out the house. I'm also thankful for this forum, which has given me something to concentrate on, on a particularly difficult day. Last one - did some meditation using an app and it really helped calm me down! :)

I'm thankful for my boys in other countries. We may not speak the same language but I know when we see each other it's like that barrier is gone because our friendship breaks down that barrier and we can love our own.

I was feeling down until this post, thanks OP.

    Hi Nick_E,

So sorry for the loss of your friend, and sorry also that I haven't seen your comment until now.

At least Beyond Blue is a place where you can come to talk about that stuff and get support.

So sorry. Wish I knew what else to say.

    Take care. Xo

    Hello,

I'm grateful for this thread and BB.

I'm grateful of my best friend, although she lives in another state and I have known her for nearly 25 years. But we stay in contact through the year.

Also grateful of having good friends living in my area.

I'm grateful today for an interview I read today from my favourite musician Jon Bellion.

He spoke bluntly about his mental health and about learning to put his mental health before performing for others.

He spoke about social media in the same way members here have in Paul's Facebook thread.

It felt like someone in the public eye was talking openly about the changes we all try so hard to make for ourselves every single day and struggle with.

Most of all I am so thankful for how there was nothing remotely apologetic. How he said he'll do what feels healthy for him and if that means people stop caring because he's not doing what they want that's just tough luck.

It felt like another small step closer to change.

I am grateful to my loving and supportive partner, her generous family who I am living with, for living in Australia and for my privilege - having all of my basic needs met (food, water, shelter) + other luxuries.

I am grateful that I've discovered the BB website. FB and Twitter were adding to my anxiety.

Instead, am reading all the posts people have shared and now I feel connected and less lonely.

    Hi all,

I have just found this BB post forums tonight, which I am grateful for, well this morning and last night, as I have been awake all night, which is not good.

I suppose I am grateful I am alive and breathing, although I sometimes think is it all worth it. But I have my daughter who I am so so very grateful to have. Also i am grateful for all the music in the world. Thank you.
