Hi LJ, I don’t normally worry about these skin cancers, I know they just cut em out and all safe. Just I mentioned it to my GP in June 2019 and said it was a cyst not I could loose a large part of my lower eye lid. I know skin cancers are much bigger under the skin than the sore on top and I know I Shouldn’t let what H says effect me, just did this time. Sorry you missed your appointment.
so glad you gone and got tested and are doing the right thing. So many just don’t care. I have best wishes going your way your safe. I had a friend who was in a similar situation and finally got out of her 14 day isolation and went straight to Maccas and got a think shake lol. We do sound to be in the same area.

My test came back negative yay! Everyone in my household was negative too.

I'm back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks off. I'm actually looking forward to it and I have been feeling more positive the last 2 days. Maybe my medicine is kicking in.

So I'm not home again and work still until at least Tuesday. I woke up sick yesterday. Had a phone consultation with my doctor and she sent me for a covid test. She gave me a referral for a drive through clinic, so I had the swab, yesterday. I have to wait for results until Monday. My doctor has to get the results. I've been at home isolating since Monday.

I'm not going to lie. I am happy for a few days off. Then I go back Tuesday and Friday, then it's my weekend off and 2 weeks annual leave. Woo! Lol

In good news I am feeling happier, or maybe more like my self. I think maybe my medication is kicking in. Earlier in the week I was down. I guess it's up and downs. That's what my psychologist has said to me in an email. And no s/h since last Friday.

Harpbird and everyone else. Hope you're all doing ok.x

Thanks very much. I am thinking I will wait. I don't think it's urgent anyway and I'm not feeling as anxious as I thought I would be to wait.

I'm happy for now that I have my psychologist and doctor right now.

Wow to be 40 again lol, vineyards are beautiful, they have such good gift shops. we took the grandkids to the hunter valley gardens earlier in the year to see the dinosaurs. We all went up in the Ferris wheel, my 30 yo daughter was packing it, it was so funny, 2x 5 year olds standing in it looking down, the look of fear in her face. Was a lovely day.

I love it at the Hunter Valley Gardens. Beautiful.

I'm good actually. Been feeling a lot more like my happier self and positive.

I had to get another covid test on Friday. It was negative. I had more days of work.

I'm finally back on Friday. Then I'm on annual leave for 2.5 weeks. I've just had 4 weeks off. I've planned that we'll lol.

How are you Harpbird? Hope you're doing well.

Whoo hoo holiday for you lol . So glad you feeling good. Enjoy it , you deserve some happiness. I am doing ok. Had my osteopath appointment yesterday, he tried so hard to unlock my upper back . I told him last Friday the pain woke me at 4 am and was like I was having a heart attack. Was really scary. But I knew it was my upper back, but it was the first time it wrapped around both sides of my ribs . He tried so many deferent techniques to release the trapped nerves. Though He was happy I hadn’t ‘S H’ seeing I’d been in so much pain. He asked when my next psychologist appointment was. I told him it was the day before but I canceled it as it was a Telehealth appointment. He disagrees with the Telehealth as I was only one of two in the huge room and was more than enough social distancing. He told me to ring him if I can’t handle my pain and he will fit me in. Can’t ring him tonight ,,,,, was walking in the yard checking out my bunch of bananas and tripped in one of my grandsons holes he dug with his digger. Will be a long night.

Hi Harpbird. How are you? I'm so so sorry for the late reply.

    I hope you're well.

I agree telehealth appointments are the worst! My doctor and psychologist are great. They understand, I can't do by phone. Especially psychologist, as no privacy.

Week one of my holidays nearly over. Just had psychologist and doctor's appointments, which is great as sucks being home so much. I normally love it, with Netflix and stan, etc.

I now have to see a gastroentologist, as I've had stomach issues for a few months. And cardiologist next week, never ending.

Hello LJ, I have just had a ruff time, but been strong and have not S H . I have just had my next spine injection. Been to GP and osteopath a few times, not heard back from gastroenterologist, Been about 5 months now. I am still getting the worse reflux.

With the growth on my eyelid atleast I heard back from that ophthalmologist and he has put me on the waiting list. I know it is a skin cancer so the longer I wait, the bigger the chunk they will need to remove.😳 I hope you have been doing ok and coping.

Hi LJpd81, hope your doing ok? Yeh I am not doing too well. Really getting to the end of this constant pain. I use my meds as prescribed. Have been waiting to get into a rheumatologist to give me answers. Not just medicate the pain , it don’t help after so long. I am not coping with the night pain and to try and move in the morning or after I have rested is so dang cruel.😖. I really am not coping, I feel like I have lost my fight. 😔

I am so sorry to hear that. Always here for you. So sorry I've been quiet and not asked.

I'm ok. Actually I've been slipping again in to super bad thoughts and seeing my psychologist again.

Totally understand LJ, so good to hear your seeing your psychologist. Sometimes I think I need To go see them Again as those rotten thoughts are far to convincing. But I haven’t done anything for 10 months. I got a call just before 8 pm last night as it come up no ID caller. I didn’t answer it. So once it stopped ringing I checked for a message. What doctor rings at that time of night? So I rang straight back and no answer , had to leave another message 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just not right they say due to covid they are short staffed , well how can they have the time to ring you but not answer the phone ?

Thanks lovely, I am at my moms for a few days so I know mentally I will be ok. Looking after her and doing things for her helps me forget about myself. Still hoping I may get that call tonight 🤞. Otherwise will play the waiting game next week again.
what have you been up to? Do you have hobbies?

That's good. Being distracted helps you forget being sad.

Not really hobbies. Unless you count watching my pay TV channels.

I work all weekend. Helps keep me busy.
