Demand generated for beyondblue websites and support service increasing

beyondblue is here for everyone in Australia. We’re everywhere you are – at work, school, university and in communities across the country. We provide information and support for people at every stage of life, whatever their need – young adults, new families, adults, older adults, LGBTI communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people from different cultural backgrounds.

We encourage every person in Australia to recognise the signs and symptoms of anxiety and depression, to break down stigma and discrimination, and most importantly we drive people to useful information and support to help them take action.

The graph below reflects the ongoing growth in public engagement led by beyondblue over the past two and a half years. The figures prove our activities have been highly effective in communicating the triggers, symptoms and causes of depression and anxiety, and in leading people to take action and seek further information from our websites, the Support Service and through our online forums. The growth trajectory also shows that once engaged, people across all audience groups who have identified symptoms and seek our support remain engaged over time.
