Summary

Overall the developed online psychological intervention for men following treatment for prostate cancer, My Road Ahead, appears to be engaging, user friendly and capable of providing a much needed accessible intervention to reduce mental health difficulties and improve quality of life. Data suggests that men experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression are accessing and adhering to the program. The randomised controlled trial of this intervention has shown that the intervention is effective in reducing psychological distress and improving sexual satisfaction.
