Volunteer at African Music and Cultural Festival 2025
22 - 23 November 2025
The African Music and Cultural Festival is a 3-day family friendly celebration of African Culture. Over 35 African Countries and community organisations will be represented through music, food, fashion, film, dance, art and culture.
Volunteering is a great way to support Beyond Blue, connect with others and feel a sense of pride and purpose.
Event Details
We are looking for 3 volunteers each day to join a Beyond Blue staff member at this event. Volunteers will be talking with attendees about their mental health and wellbeing, or those they may be concerned about, sharing our services and resources and collecting donations.

Shift 1: Saturday 22 November – 9:30am to 1:30pm
Shift 2: Saturday 22 November – 12:30pm to 4:30pmShift 3: Sunday 23 November – 9:30am to 1:30pm
Shift 4: Sunday 23 November – 12:30pm to 4:30pm
You’ll receive a full briefing before the event and on the day to ensure you feel prepared and confident to represent Beyond Blue.
You’ll also be eligible for up to $30 in reimbursements to cover the costs for transport, parking, food and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day.
