Yes Blondguy you're right about Shell. And of course Shell, I always read what you write. You write so nicely, so descriptively. Its as though your reader is right there with you as you describe everything.
Okay, today I suggested to Roberty-Bob that he may like to check out this thread. He is a very keen runner. So I am hoping he will drop in sometime and perhaps tell us about where he runs and what he thinks about while he runs. I'm hoping some of his incredible inspiration and strength will rub off on the rest of us. I know I could sure use some. So if you see R-Bob around, please dont let him get away without saying goodaye.
Shell - are you walking today, perhaps your usual evening walk? Again my shopping isle battles will be it for me today. I thought my back may be good enough for a short walk this afternoon, but its not. When my back gets crook, it affects the nerve, which then makes my calf muscle cease up and get really sore. Thats what happened during my shopping trip unfortunately. The first 6 months after injuring my back, I could barely put any weight on my left leg at all. It felt like a torn muscle, only it wasnt, it was from the nerve being choked off. The body reacts in strange ways doesnt it? Anyway I have an ongoing issue with my left calf muscle. The muscle is quite wasted and is noticably smaller than my other leg. And weaker, despite a stack of special targeted exercises over the years which were meant to help. And If I am honest with myself, it is much improved, but I am still a little self conscious about my one skinny leg! ( - :
I am working tomorrow, but I'm hoping I will be able to take Holly out for a walk on either Wednesday or Thursday. I'm feeling very guilty for not taking her out for nearly a week.
Look forward to hearing about your next walk.
