Hi, I am new to this and I am not sure what to say really. This is not my first time dealing with depression.
I struggled badly around 16 years ago and attempted to take my life.
With lots of help I got through that dark time and have had many ups and downs since but this time I am finding it harder to deal with. My GP suggested calling but I am not much of a talker, especially with my partner and kids in the house.
I often feel alone and like I am a total failure. I have just changed medication as I found my last one made my chronic migraines worse. Only 2 days into new meds and really struggling today.
Hopefully chatting here will help me and others who like me are just hanging in there.

Hi Crochet queen (lovely name btw!)

Welcome to the BB forums and I really hope you can find some relief here.

Remember there are great Counsellors you can talk to also through BB and other specified helplines.

I've got lots of children at home so I tell them I have to make a private call and go sit in my car!
It helps alot to be able to answer questions honestly.

You sound like you've got alot to deal with having chronic migraines on top. I'm sorry that happens to you, it must be hell on wheels. Do you also have meds for these?

My mother got injections from her GP to stop her migraines. They worked miracles.

Are there any specific life circumstances that may have caused your depression to return now?

Remember you don't have to answer any questions.

This is YOUR thread, so write away and members will be along to offer support.

    Welcome again.
    EM
