    Hey guys,

Been a tough last 12 months in my life from being a happy loving adventurous fun person to, barley leaving the house and always putting stuff off, i’ve lost most friends because of a situation that didn’t happen (ex best mate brainwashed a large amount of people that something happened between us which didn’t.) My girlfriend of over 3 years split up with me over her mental health which is understandable. That’s only a small part of what’s happened and i’m lost i don’t know what to do with myself anymore, I never get time to think to myself since i work full time and choose to work saturdays to get some extra coin.

Any advice would be helpful Thankyou :)

(hopefully it makes a bit of sense what i’ve said)

    Hi, welcome

    Yes it made sense.

Can I suggest that this period post relationship and friendships that you use it as an opportunity to do some soul searching and develop future life planning?

eg One idea is to go dating- enjoy it and it will help your last relationship to become more distant.

    Hobbies and sports?

    what were/are you good at?

    Do you have goals?

    Attend motivational speeches

Im sorry I don’t have any further suggestions but if you place the following threads in the search bar you might benefit from them

30 minutes can save your life

    firtr of survival

    the labyrinth of friendships

    Hey Browny,

Welcome to the forum, and glad you finally found a little bit of time for yourself to post on here. From what you have written it makes plenty sense that you are feeling like the person you showed up as 12 months ago, and the energy you had is different from the person showing up today. I feel for you, and know that must carry with it a heap of emotions in itself.

Damn for what its worth I'm sorry about what happened between you and your ex's best mate, and that most of friends chose to believe somethings that were not true - thats really unfair. Was there anyone that stuck by you through this, or new friends that you have made since?

Hey I'm glad you are still working, for me personally this is my biggest relief and time to "check out" and do something productive. It does sound like more downtime is what your looking for though? Is there anything you do no for your own enjoyment?

I'd love to help you in any way possible, and I see you want advice so I'm wondering if there is anything particular you wanted to talk about? otherwise just happy to chat :)
