NewAccess - Coaching you through tough times

If life pressures are causing you stress, you can take action.

NewAccess is a free service that provides support in the form of a coach. A coach is someone who will guide you in setting practical goals that will get you back on track.

The NewAccess program model has been developed by beyondblue. As a successful, proven model, NewAccess is now being separately funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health via Primary Health Networks (PHN’s) as services like NewAccess are being commissioned across Australia.

What is NewAccess?

NewAccess is a program developed by beyondblue that provides free and confidential support to help you tackle day-to-day pressures.

A NewAccess coach, specially trained and experienced, will support you in setting practical goals that will get you back on track.

How does NewAccess work?

The program includes six free sessions with a NewAccess coach. At your first appointment, your coach will complete an initial assessment with you and develop a program tailored to your needs.

Sessions occur over the phone or face-to-face, whichever works best for you.

What NewAccess clients have to say

“After my first meeting I felt relieved. With each successive meeting I felt more confident in myself to be able to overcome my attitude towards each problem I faced. I was given tasks and behavioural therapies to try, which are still in progress, but have greatly helped.

''Most of my progress and thanks are attributed to my Access coach, who not only encouraged me to try, but also made my attitudes and problems feel validated.” John
