Living out his dream in the AFL playing for the Carlton Football Club, Liam Stocker thought mental health wasn’t something he had to worry about. After all, he'd been working towards getting drafted for years, and had finally achieved his goal.
However, Liam's anxiety had other ideas, to the point where it caused him to question his place in the football industry.
His decision to reach out for support led him to sharing his experience, which Liam hopes will help to reduce stigma in men's mental health.

"I felt like I’d been believed for the first time... it was really refreshing to have that support from someone, especially an actual professional.
It was nice to finally feel like I wasn’t alone."
