I was asked to join beyondblue in 2006 as the Clinical Adviser and got to know the organisation very well from that point. Afterwards I was thrilled to be asked to join the Board as one of the Board of Directors.

What I liked is as a psychiatrist I get to help people on an individual basis, but being part of beyondblue has meant that I've been able to try and help people in a larger scale.

And trying to help the population of people with depression and anxieties That's been a very strong motivator for me.
